How do I get the PDF cookbook?
It is an instant digital download, nothing ships. Your private download link appears on the thank-you page right after checkout. It works for 72 hours, so download and save the PDF then. If you need it again, return to the thank-you page within 30 days for a fresh link. If you bought the kit bundle, the kit ships as usual and the PDF is ready right away.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are processed in 1–2 business days and ship by standard tracked shipping. Most orders arrive in 7–14 business days, and you get tracking by email when the order ships.
How much is shipping?
Free on orders of $35 or more; otherwise a flat $4.95 anywhere in the US.
Where do your products ship from?
Our tools ship directly from our suppliers' warehouses overseas. That's how we keep prices fair, and it's why most orders take 7–14 business days. There's no express option.
What size banneton do I need?
For a standard recipe of about 500 g of flour (roughly a 900 g–1 kg loaf), a 9" round or 10" oval basket is the usual fit.
Do I need to season a rattan banneton?
Before first use, mist it lightly with water and dust it generously with rice flour (or a 50/50 rice and wheat mix). Tap out the excess. After each bake, let it dry completely and brush out the flour. Never wash it with soap.
Liner or no liner?
Use the liner for wetter doughs or a smoother look. Skip it for the classic spiral flour pattern.
Is the lame safe?
The blades are razor-sharp. Keep the blade covered (wood handle) or retracted (magnetic) when not in use, store it out of reach of children, and replace blades when they start to drag.
Can I return something?
We don't accept returns or exchanges, and we can't refund a change of mind. But if your order is lost in transit or arrives damaged, defective or not as described, contact us with your order number and a photo within 14 days of delivery (or 14 days after the expected delivery date if it never arrived). You'll get a full refund or a free replacement, your choice, and nothing needs to be sent back. See our refund policy for details.
Can I get a refund on the PDF cookbook?
It's non-refundable once downloaded. If the file won't download or open and we can't fix it for you, we'll refund you in full.
Do you charge sales tax?
Sales tax is calculated at checkout where we are required to collect it.
Is checkout secure?
Payments are handled by Stripe, and we never see your full card details.
